    On the first day of your Ladakh trip, you will arrive at Leh, the region of high passes. After entering the adventurous city, check into your hotel.

Day 2 / EXPLORING THE BEAUTY OF LEH Leh, Ladakh
    Full Day

    On the second day of your tour, here comes time to begin your Ladakh adventure. Have a revitalizing breakfast and start the thrill by exploring the top attractions of Leh.

    You will visit the Hall of Fame, a military museum dedicated to Indian soldier, especially those who fought Kargil war, Gurudwara Shri Pathar Sahib, a spriritual site, Sham Valley, a picturesque village known for its apricots, Sangam point, where Zanskar and Indus rivers meet, and the magical Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill by themselves.

    In the evening, you will head back to Leh to discover the delightful local markets from where you can shop traditional Ladakh items, from Ladakhi jewelry to Pashmina shawls. Head to the lovely cafes to taste the traditional Thukpa and momos. 

    Then warp your day with a flavourful dinner and a night stay at the hotel.

Day 3 / LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY Nubra, Ladakh

    On your third day, prepare to tour Nubra Valley from Leh after a delicious breakfast. Here you will visit exciting places like Khardung La Pass, the world's highest motorable road, the magnificent Diskit Monastery, which houses the famous Maitreya Buddha statue, and the interesting Hunder Sand Dunes.

    In addition to enjoying some refreshments in South and North Pullu. You can have an exciting camel ride on the famous double-humped Bactrian camels at your own cost.

    At the end of the day, relive today's adventure over a satisfying meal and overnight stay at Nubra Valley.

Day 4 / NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG Pangong, Ladakh

    On the fourth day, enjoy a satisfying breakfast before heading to Pangong Lake from Nubra Valley. While you will be driving toward this lake, you will pass another serene Shyok River, a tributary of the Indus River. Don’t forget to see and capture the view of this beautiful river. 

    Once you arrive at Pangong Lake, you will be amazed by the changing color of the lake from blue to green, sometimes even red, for which this lake is known. Fun is not over yet, get into your campsite location beside the lake to witness the calmness of this nature's gift.

    Then, conclude your day by taking a satisfying dinner before hitting the bed.

Day 5 / PANGONG TO LEH Leh, Ladakh
    Full Day

    On the fifth day, you will head back to Leh from Pangong.  Thus, after having a mouthwatering breakfast, last time capture the beauty of this lake, walk on the shoreline, or play with the water.

    Finally, venture back to Leh. Enjoy your drive by listening to music, hearing the chirping of birds, and simply looking outside the window. In your route, you will pass Changla La Pass, the third-highest motorable mountain pass in the world. Capture this moment.

    In the evening, you will arrive at Leh, explore the village, and spend some quality time there. At last, hit the bed at your accommodation after having a delicious dinner.

Day 6 / DEPARTURE FROM LEH Checkout
    Full Day

    On this day, at the end of your domestic package, enjoy a great breakfast in the midst of Ladakh's breathtaking scenery. After that, pack your bags and gather all of your possessions with a heart full of wonderful memories and adventures. 

    After leaving the hotel, proceed to the Leh airport to begin your journey back home.

  • Personal expenses such as gratuities for drivers, admission to monuments and monasteries, charges for cameras or video cameras, river rafting, camel safari, laundry, phone bills, tips, etc, are all excluded from the package.
  • Any expenses resulting from natural disasters, such as landslides, roadblocks, etc., aren't covered in the package. It must be paid immediately by the client.

Ladakh, a union territory, is the northernmost part of India. Situated between the Karakoram and the Himalayan mountain range. With its unique location, it mostly remains cold with harsh winters most time of the year. Tibetan Buddhism is the main culture of Ladakh, with numerous monasteries spread all over the area. But before you go, there are certain things that one should keep in mind. These are as follows.

  1. High Altitude and Acclimatization
    The altitude of Ladakh is 11,562 feet above sea level. Owing to that height, some travelers can suffer from altitude sickness. Thus, visit the doctor before making any plan for it. And when you reach there, let your body adapt to the environment slowly to this lower level of oxygen condition.
  2. Cultural Sensitivity
    Ladakh, which is also known as Little Tibet, is home to the Tibetan Buddhists with numerous monasteries, stupas, spinning prayer wheels, and prayer flags. Thus be mindful of local culture and traditions that is very close to the Ladaki people.
  3. Unique Landscapes
    Ladakh is situated between the Karakoram and the Himalayan mountain range. With its location, it has a unique landscape from the coldest deserts, snow peaks, to the stunning valleys.   5. Safety and Health
    Ladakh is also known as the coldest desert. Cold and harsh climatic conditions associated with chilly winds and snow are common to Ladakh. Be prepared for such a situation and carry a basic first aid kit, emergency supplies, and extra food and water. In the remote area, be more cautious. You can also consider buying an oxygen cylinder for altitude sickness.
Terms and Conditions

Some terms and conditions needed to be kept in mind before planning a trip to Ladakh with Travel Junky. These apply to all, whether going with a family or friends.

  1. Booking and payments:
    If you are booking the package before 30 days of departure, then only 50% of the package amount is required to confirm the booking. Whereas booking within 30 days, then the full payment is required to be made. All the payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or credit/debit cards (additional charges may apply for card payments).
  2. Cancellation Policy:
    If any traveler wants to cancel the trip after the confirmation of the booking, then below are the cancellation fees that will be applied to the total cost of the package according to the days when you are cancelling it. 25% for 45 days or more 50% for 30-44 days 75% for 15-29 days 100% for less than 15 days or no show up All the refunds will be made within 15 working days after the cancellation.
  3. Amendments:
    If you want to make any changes, like altering the date, upgrading in hotel, or tweaks in the itinerary, any changes in the package must be made between 30 days prior to the departure. But keep in mind that all the amendments are subject to the availability and can come with additional charges. Name changes in the booking are not permitted.
  4. Documents:
    All travelers are required to bring a valid government ID such as an Aadhar card, Voter card, or passport. With Ladakh Inner Line permits is the vital thing that Travel junky assist in facilitating. Whereas international travelers must bring a passport with an Indian visa and a restricted area permit if applicable.
  5. Health and fitness:
    Ladakh is a high-altitude destination, with a lower level of oxygen is a common thing. It is always advisable to consult a doctor before making a plan for Ladakh. Travel junky will not be responsible for any high altitude sickness or any health issue.
  6. Travel insurance:
    Travel junky will not be responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or delay due to unforeseen circumstances. Thus, Travel insurance is highly appreciable when going to such high-altitude destinations. This will cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
  7. Itinerary and Activities:
    Itineraries are subject to change due to weather conditions, roadblocks, or government orders. Certain activities, like river rafting and trekking, are weather-dependent. Therefore Travel Junky are not reliable for any alteration or cancellation in the package.
  8. Accommodation:
    Family and friends will be accommodated as per availability, and special requests like view, adjacency are subject to availability. All the accommodation will be provided on a double, triple sharing basis in standard/deluxe hotels, guesthouses, or camps. In your accommodation, early check-in and check-out may incur additional charges.
  9. Transportation:
    The type of vehicle (SUVs, Tempo Travelers) is dependent on the number of people. During the travel, the driver's decision on route, stoppage, and timing will be final. All travelers should not request for unscheduled travel.
  10. Code of conduct:
    Travelers are expected to respect the local customs, culture, and regulations. Any property damage or inappropriate behaviour can result in the removal from the trip without a refund.
  11. Liability:
    Travel junky just act as an agent for hotel, transport companies, and other service providers. Thus, it will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property. Also Travel Junky is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or expenses caused by circumstances beyond its control.
  12. Photography and media:
    Travel Junky reserves the right to use any photographs, videos, or testimonials taken during the trip for promotional purposes unless otherwise notified in writing.
